Online Resources

RAZ Kids provides teachers, or subscribers, to access to a huge variety of resources for young children up to age 11+. You can explore the site with a free trial.

It is simple to search for titles or topics by students' reading levels. The books can be printed in several formats including single-sided, double-sided, pocket size, and some are available without words. The titles and illustrations are of high interest to students. There is an option to listen to assign the book to students, listen to it, or project it!

Each title has suggested lesson plans, printables, and more that are aligned with Common Core Standards. Additional resources including writing materials, vocabulary lessons, and depending on the level of the book, phonics, and phonemic awareness materials are available as well.

Teachers have the option of assessing students on Common Core Skills. Reports can be sent directly to the teacher. This is not a feature I have used from the site but can see how it would be beneficial if looking for a way to collect data on students.

This site has a fabulous range of materials for preschool and elementary students at all reading levels. It is easy to navigate and user friendly. I would highly recommend checking it out!

Here's a screenshot of what a teacher would see when looking at a book.

This is a sneak peek at a lesson plan.

The basic package for a single license is 109.95 for a year. This includes the books and materials. RazPlus includes the assessment piece and is 199.95 for a yearly subscription.
